Biography

Safdar Alipoor is a biomedical engineer, lecturer, and education professional with a multidisciplinary background in biomedical engineering, medical laboratory sciences, and biomedical equipment technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (Bioelectric) from the University of Isfahan, Iran, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and a Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Technology from Kabul University of Medical Sciences “Abu Ali Ibn Sina.”
He currently works at Kabul University of Medical Sciences “Abu Ali Ibn Sina” – Ali Abad Teaching Hospital, where he is involved in biomedical engineering and medical equipment technology. He also has teaching experience at a private university and has contributed to educational programs and initiatives aimed at expanding learning opportunities for Afghan students, particularly girls with limited access to formal education.
His academic and professional interests include biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence in healthcare, machine learning, medical image processing, and medical equipment quality control. He has also participated in research activities related to the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in medical image analysis and leukemia detection.
Alongside his academic and professional activities, Safdar is actively involved with Education Bridge for Afghanistan (EBA), contributing to quality assurance, educational content development, and the improvement of educational programs and processes. He also participates in various educational initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and expanding learning opportunities for students in Afghanistan.
He is also involved with the Global Scholarship House Consultancy Office in the field of educational counseling and educational opportunities.
