Dr Saffron Grandage holds a PhD in Materials Science and brings over 15 years of charitable sector experience in the UK and China. Her work includes two years overseeing the finances of a small NGO in China, where she combined scientific insight with grassroots impact. As Treasurer and long-standing Trustee of Education Bridge for Afghanistan (EBA), she has supported the organisation’s financial governance and strategic growth for the past four years. Dr Grandage is committed to educational access and accountability, ensuring that every pound raised translates into meaningful opportunities for Afghanistani students—especially girls striving to continue their learning.
